About the Author

I've used the Internet to search for accurate information about psoriasis since the early 90s. As a volunteer, I built and maintained the first versions of http://www.psoriasis.org and http://www.ifpa-pso.org in the mid and late 90s. I also built the now long-defunct http://www.psorheads.com.

When I am able, I attend meetings of the Bay Area / Peninsula Psoriasis Support Network. I'm a longtime member of the National Psoriasis Foundation. Please join me in supporting their research and advocacy programs.

3/25/08: Five new search engines added to Search Tools: 2 peer reviewed biomedical journals, 1 biotech news site, the National Guidline Clearinghouse, and the International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements database.

12/19/07 - 12/26/07: Link checked and added a biotech search engine to Search Tools, added new search terms to the Literature Searches page, and link checked, added links to and cleaned up numerous typos in the List O'Links.

10/01/05: The Toolbox has undergone an extensive revision. A new introductory home page has been added. The old "Toolbox" page has been split into a "List O'Links" and "Search Tools" page. All links and search forms are now annotated, new links and forms have been added, and all malfunctioning links and forms have either been corrected or removed. The site has also been redesigned and is hopefully easier to navigate.
